Why is it that I am not surprised that HBCUs got the short end of the stick in the reconciliation bill? Also, the addition of MSIs to share in the funding is another play by liberal policymakers to cash in on a market that HBCUs had, but are losing. This reminds of the HBCU Digest discussion with Alabama A&M U president about relationships to get a piece of the pie. Many HBCUs are going to have think outside of the box for funding opportunities and it may mean partnerships with my friend's enemy.
