Dr. Hugine shares his plans to step down in 2021, his view of AAMU’s growth over his 11-year tenure at the institution, and the role of the pandemic in shaping the timing for his departure.
Maybe the new President will focus on student success to graduation rates. In it's 2011 cohort, Alabama A&M had a 4% graduation rate that slightly improved to 8% in 2013. It's six year 2011 cohort was 24% and 2013 30%. This is not exactly success. Though the school may take in students, it certainly is not graduating them.
