The more unique and industrially-relevant a program is, the likelier that it will attract a diverse group of students for enrollment, tuition revenue, donations, and external funding.

I am a former Langston professor and I can state first hand that the school is an academic joke. I am sure that Kent Smith and his minions got paid handsomely to sell LU out. Shucks, they have all been stealing money and running the school into the ground for years with the full blessing of the Oklahoma State University Board of Regents and the State Government of Oklahoma. They can't kill Langston so they use ignorant house negroes like Kent Smith and the recently retired Clyde Montgomery to do their dirty work and get paid under the table for it. The U.S. Department of Education needs to do a full academic and financial audit on Langston. Alot of people will end up in prison if they do.
