Officials at Dillard University are denying claims of widespread academic fraud made against the school president and several administrators between 2013 and 2019, and considering legal action against the former faculty member making a public case against the university.
This was interesting to read, especially the documents--they don't all seem to support the claims from the letter. I'm especially interested in knowing why the letter about the young woman's accommodations, which she is legally entitled to, were included (doesn't provide enough info to support the allegations regarding IDEA). I will be following this story.
This will be interesting to see how this plays out. These days, prominent figures will need to make sure their image is not tainted by revelations of questionable behavior. If the allegations are true, Dr. Kimbrough and Dillard will need to explain. On the other hand, allegations proven false will need to be handled appropriately.
